Celebrating Veteran's Day

Veterans Day is an official United States holiday honoring armed service veterans. It is a federal holiday that is observed on November 11th. The Students here at South Side Celebrated Veteran's Day on November 9th, 2012. We had Patriotic Essays, Guest Speakers, Patriotic Songs, and Refreshments for the Veterans and Their Families. The Ceremony was hosted by Mrs. Nelson's 6th Grade Class and once again they did a great job!
